| ASHEN SPIRE Sundays 1 - 6 p.m -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bowers Park 2570 Cabrillo Ave Santa Clara, CA -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ashen Spire is an Amtgard shire whose home is in the general San Jose region. It hosts a variety of people from the neighboring cities and has a wonderful mix of new players as well as experienced members. Ashen Spire also receives a fair share of visiting players from the surrounding lands of Westmarch and always welcomes anyone interested to come experience the weekly activities. Ashen Spire’s home, Bowers Park, is clean and easy to find. Nestled into a quiet suburban district and bracketed by two schools it is conveniently situated off San Tomas Expressway. All activities take place on the well-maintained field with public restrooms, drinking fountains, and picnic tables only a few steps away. The many trees provide an abundance of shade for members to sit in or even fight in. Parking is free in the park-owned lot and additional parking can always be found on the street, a short walk from the field. | In the summer we can be found at Growden Park. It is by the Carlson Center on Wilbur St. off of Airport Way. We meet here from 2-6p on Saturdays, but usually have ditching at noon. On Wednesdays from 6-10p we have fighter practices while we are still outside. Around mid to late September through April we are at the U-Park gym (Alaskan winters are cold). This is at 1000 University Avenue right off of Geist Rd. The gym isn't as roomy as the park, but it gives us a place to play. We meet here at 6pm on Saturdays and play until 10. | The Shire of Cloud's Edge meets at Penny Park on Wednesday nights from 6pm-10pm and on Saturday at Tyrone Park 5 miles south of Silver City from 11am to 3pm. There is always at least one class battlegame played. New people and visitors are welcome and we love to meet new people. Rulebook garb and sashes are required, but if you need some loaners are available. |

| We are at Wingfield Park in Ruidoso, NM. It is next to the RAC. We meet on Sunday afternoons 12-6 and are active every week. We also do a fighter practice on Wednesday afternoons 4:00pm-dark at the same park. We are really friendly to kids, we have a lot of them out here, and a lot of their parents play as well. We welcome any newcomers in the area and are extremely happy to have visitors. We have a yahoo group named The Savage Highlands. |
